Damgate Farm  Damgate Farm can offer a fantastic location for that well-earned relaxing break from everyday life- just relax read a book, walk, let time stand still. A break from the buzz of every day life, treating you to the tranquility of the rolling  countryside of the Peak District. We offer a variety if rooms all with private facilties or en suite facilities and a separate self contained cottage sleeping up to 4. Nearby we have the stately homes of Chatsworth House, Kedleston Hall and Haddon Hall. Popular market towns of Ashbourne and Bakewell with their boutiques, antique shops and tea rooms. Locally we have a number of excellent farm shops including The Peak District Farm Shop only half a mile from the farm and if you would prefer The George in Alstonefield offering locally sourced fine food and selection of excellent beers and wine. The landscapes have been selected by many film directors as their location of choice for major blockbusters including Jane Eyre, The Duchess and most recently Russell Crowe in Robin Hood.
